The junior learn to rowing programme is run by Kevin Sellar, who is employed by the Plymouth SSP. The project owns 10 sliding seat Virus boats and a safety boat names 'Stephanie G' as well as the use of other boats based at the Mount Batten Centre. Kevin runs a series of 6 week 'Learn to Row' courses from the Mount Batten Watersports Centre in Plymouth.
Kevin is based within the Plymouth School Sports Partnership, so the majority of young rowers come from the Plymouth schools, but often spaces are available for pupils not in Plymouth schools.

The project is clubmark accredited and all lead coaches are a minimum of UKCC Level 2 qualified.
